EPL: Martinelli snubs Arteta after leaving Arsenal for Al Hilal

Gabriel Martinelli made a significant move to Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, breaking away from his time at Arsenal. The 25-year-old was priced at a record £60 million transfer fee. This transfer came after Arteta, the Arsenal manager, opted to promote Christos Tzolis and Ebere Eze over Martinelli on the left flank. On social media, Martinelli expressed his appreciation towards everyone associated with Arsenal, including the security personnel, media crew, physiotherapists, and doormen.

However, he did not include Arteta in his farewell message or even provide a picture of the manager. Martinelli's message read, "I can only thank the staff and my teammates. Thank you to the chefs, kit staff, doctors, doormen, security staff, media team, cleaning staff, physios and every single teammate who has been part of my story from 2019 until today."

He further added, "And to the fans, thank you for everything. Since my first day, you made me feel at home. Every time I stepped on the pitch, despite everything, I tried to give everything I had for this shirt. To Arsenal, thank you for believing in me and giving me the chance to show myself to the world."
