CDCFIB recruitment: Board clarifies dress code for oral interview

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has outlined the approved dress code for candidates attending the oral interview in their 2024/2025 recruitment process. The clarification was issued by the Board's Head of Press and Public Relations, Okeh Juliet, on September 6, 2026. The oral interview is set to begin on September 7, 2026.

Candidates are required to wear a white T-shirt with short or long sleeves, while ladies have the option of wearing long sleeves. They must also wear white shorts or white long trousers, with the option of long trousers for ladies. The Board also specifies that white sneakers and white socks should be worn, while headscarves are optional for female candidates.

All candidates are urged to strictly follow the dress code provided. Those who do not comply will not be allowed entry into the interview venue. The statement emphasized that adherence to the dress code is mandatory for all candidates participating in the final stage of the recruitment exercise for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Immigration Service.

The Board expressed its best wishes for success to all candidates in the oral interview. The oral interview is the concluding stage of the 2024/2025 recruitment process. Shortlisted candidates are required to select a venue closest to them, along with a date and time, and print their invitation letters. The Board reminded candidates that the recruitment process is free of charge and discouraged applicants from paying anyone for employment opportunities.
