Amstel Malta supports Abia women with grants

Amstel Malta has granted business support and beauty gift packs to women in Abia State as part of its involvement in the annual August Meeting held at the New Government House in Umuahia on August 28. This tradition involves women returning to their hometowns to reconnect with their communities, discuss local issues, and honor their heritage.

The company awarded grants to five women to help grow their businesses and foster their entrepreneurial ambitions. The event was attended by the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, and his wife, the First Lady, Priscilla Otti, as well as the State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr Maureen Aghukwa, who distributed the business grants.

Amstel Malta collaborated with Zaron Cosmetics to provide beauty packs to attendees, continuing a partnership from the previous year's August Meeting. Senior Brand Manager, Francis Obiajulu, expressed Amstel Malta's pride in supporting women during such gatherings, while Zaron Cosmetics' Senior Manager, Aderinsola Adetunji, emphasized the importance of women prioritizing their own well-being alongside their support for families and communities.

The company had previously recognized women at the August Meeting in Enugu State for their contributions.
