Amstel Malta supports Abia women with grants

Amstel Malta recently supported women in Abia State by providing business grants and beauty gift packs during the August Meeting held at the New Government House in Umuahia on August 28. This annual tradition sees women return to their hometowns to reconnect with their communities, discuss local issues, and celebrate their shared heritage.

The event also honored five women who received business grants to help grow their enterprises and foster their entrepreneurial ambitions. The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, and the First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, attended the ceremony alongside the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr. Maureen Aghukwa, who presented the grants.

Amstel Malta partnered with Zaron Cosmetics to distribute curated beauty packs to attendees, continuing their collaboration from the previous year's edition of the August Meeting. The Senior Brand Manager of Amstel Malta, Francis Obiajulu, expressed the brand's pride in supporting women during gatherings that celebrate their contributions beyond their daily responsibilities.

He emphasized the importance of the partnership with Zaron Cosmetics in reminding women to take time for themselves while continuing to support their families and communities.

Zaron Cosmetics Senior Manager, Aderinsola Adetunji, highlighted the company's commitment to the August Meeting tradition, stating that women play a significant role in their families and communities. The event provided an opportunity to recognize their efforts and encourage them to prioritize their well-being. Amstel Malta has previously extended similar recognition to women at the August Meeting in Enugu State, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to celebrating women throughout the South East region.
