99% kru kabin Malaysia Airlines negatif dadah

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the parent company of Malaysia Airlines, has announced that 98.8% of their cabin crew have tested negative for drugs after a mandatory screening process. President and Executive Chairman of MAG, Nasaruddin A Bakar, revealed that the remaining 1.2% of the crew will undergo the drug test today. This continued process includes flight attendants, following the announcement of Malaysia Airlines resuming flights from Kuala Lumpur to Busan and Firefly to China.

MAG decided to screen 2,840 cabin crew members last month following the arrest of a second Malaysia Airlines employee in Indonesia at the end of July. On August 17, MAG disclosed that all Malaysia Airlines flight attendants were cleared to fly after undergoing the mandatory drug screening. The flight attendant, who was held at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta on July 29, had 25kg of ecstasy and 2.7g of hashish found in his possession.

The suspect, reportedly promised RM50,000 for dealing with the drugs, also tested positive for hashish, ecstasy, and cocaine. However, he was in the cockpit seat, not part of the flight crew controlling the aircraft.
