In this indie dramedy, Thompson stars as Nancy Stokes, a 50-year-old retired school teacher and widow who has never experienced an orgasm, despite being married for 30 years.

Seeking to rectify this issue, she hires a young sex worker named Leo Grande (played by Daryl McCormack). As their professional relationship blossoms, Nancy and Leo discuss various aspects of their lives, including family dynamics, past relationships, and even their real names. Directed by Sophie Hyde and written by Katy Brand, this film offers a raw, sensual, and soulful portrayal of a woman in middle age, with all of the insecurities, desires, and regrets that come with it.
