WIRC of ICSI conducts CS Career Awareness Program

The Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducted a "Career Awareness Program" at Pillai HoC College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Rasayani on September 2, 2026. The event aimed to inform students about opportunities and career prospects within the Company Secretary profession. Led by CS Yogesh Choudhary, Chairman of ICSI-WIRC, the program was organized by the College's Career Counselling Cell and Programme, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

The college expressed gratitude to the WIRC of ICSI for delivering an insightful and motivating Career Awareness Programme. This guidance was instrumental in helping first-year students from the BMS, BAF, and B.Com programs understand the role and significance of Company Secretaries. The session delved into the specifics of the CS course, including the direct entry route for graduates to the Executive Programme. It also emphasized the advantages of combining professional qualifications with a degree.

The event further inspired students to explore new career paths and plan their future with increased confidence. Approximately 260 students participated in the session. The Principal, Rinkoo Shantnu, and Assistant Professor, B.Com. Coordinator, Paulami Rao, commended the institute for its efforts in organizing this enlightening event.
