Ukrainian brigade trials Serval Cube EW dome in combat-like conditions, suppresses every drone launched at it

The 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of Ukraine tested its domestically developed Serval Cube electronic-warfare system against simulated Russian drone attacks in a combat-like scenario. The Brigade's electronic-warfare unit conducted the trial to assess the system's performance under conditions resembling real combat. Serval Cube jams the control, navigation, and video-transmission channels of a drone rather than destroying it, preventing the aircraft from completing its mission or returning to its operator.

Ukraine's counter-drone field is increasingly crowded with various systems, such as Contra Drone's 20-system architecture and Rebel Group's Brama system. Electronic warfare has become a crucial element in front-line defense, protecting troops, positions, logistics routes, transport, shelters, and drone launch sites from Russian FPV drones and reconnaissance UAVs.

During the test, the Brigade's electronic-warfare unit launched Mavic quadcopters and FPV strike drones to simulate a scripted attack, while the Serval Cube complex was deployed to suppress the drones. The Serval Cube system successfully jammed every drone launched at it during the trial, ensuring none reached their designated targets.
