Two Palestinian teenagers killed in West Bank raid

In a tragic incident yesterday, two Palestinian teenagers lost their lives during an encounter between Israeli settlers and army troops in the West Bank, according to local authorities and the Palestinian health ministry. The victims, aged 16 and 19, were killed in al-Mughayyir village, located near Ramallah. The Israeli military disclosed that its forces had entered the village to ensure the safety of police officers and an Israeli civilian attempting to reclaim livestock.

The military explained that its troops opened fire upon key instigators of a violent disturbance, following an incident where individuals threw stones at the forces. The military added that the incident is currently under investigation. This grim event is part of a surge in violent activities by settlers in the West Bank, following a siege of Qusra village by settlers in August that drew international criticism.
