Top 10: Man City lead all-time global transfer-window spending list with €526m

Manchester City have broken the record for the highest transfer spending in a single window, exceeding €500 million during the 2026/27 summer transfer window. According to Transfermarkt, the club's expenditure surpassed Liverpool's previous record of €483 million, set in the 2025/26 summer window. City's spending included high-profile acquisitions such as Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for €70 million and the £145 million signing of Enzo Fernández from Chelsea.

In addition to these transfers, City also brought in players like Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi, enhancing their squad significantly. Despite these record-breaking expenditures, Transfermarkt reported that the club generated €337 million from player sales, resulting in a net spend of €189 million. Other notable clubs that entered the top 10 of the all-time list during this transfer window include Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle United, and Liverpool.
