Veteran sportscaster Erin Andrews made a revealing appearance on the Sept. 2 episode of "Call Her Daddy," recounting the moment she thought her career was over after a nude video leaked online in 2009. Andrews, now serving as the lead NFL sideline reporter for Fox Sports, spoke candidly about the incident during the interview.

Recalling the violation, Andrews described the stalker who followed her across cities in the mid-2000s, noting how he set up his cell phone outside her hotel room and filmed her getting ready for bed. This individual eventually uploaded the video to the internet, causing Andrews' career to plummet as she received no calls for major projects following the leak.

Describing her emotional reaction, Andrews revealed that she called her parents immediately after learning about the video, describing the experience as an "outer body experience" of screaming. Her father initially thought she was in a car accident, believing her panic was genuine. Andrews noted that the leak shattered her self-image, stating that she believed "this changes who I am" and that it would be impossible to regain the casual, welcoming persona she aimed to project.

The incident led to a lengthy investigation, culminating in the arrest of Michael David Barrett, who was charged with interstate stalking and later pleaded guilty. Barrett served over two years in prison for his actions. Andrews emphasized the lasting impact of the event, noting that she struggled with shame and embarrassment, particularly while playing in large stadiums and fearing that everyone might have seen her naked.
