Richarlison omitted from Tottenham’s Premier League squad

Richarlison has been omitted from Tottenham's Premier League squad, potentially signaling his departure from the club before the summer transfer window closes. The Brazil forward has struggled to make an impact since his move to north London four years ago. Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi stated that Richarlison had mentioned his desire to leave the club multiple times.

On Monday, Richarlison released a provocative statement on social media, asserting that he would no longer allow others to decide his future. Despite this, transfer talks with Everton, where he played from 2018 to 2022, did not materialize before the deadline. Other clubs, including Trabzonspor, are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old player.

Richarlison emphasized that he would only consider leaving if the new club was also beneficial for Tottenham. The player, who scored 12 goals during the 2025/26 season, is currently Tottenham's worst-performing team after two games, sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table.
