QSTP launches revamped Incubation Programme with Fall 2026 cohort

Doha, Qatar - Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), a part of Qatar Foundation, has unveiled its revamped Incubation Programme, accepting 52 startups from various sectors for the Fall 2026 cohort. Over a 16-week period, the program will guide these ventures from validation to investment readiness through a structured three-phase path: Sprint, Incubation, and Funding.

The Sprint, a four-week phase, focuses on rigorous testing of each startup's product-market fit, go-to-market strategy, product readiness, market potential, financials, and team dynamics. Founders will undergo workshops, hands-on development, mentorship, fieldwork, and regular pitching to validate their assumptions and demonstrate progress.

Following an evaluation, the most promising startups will move on to the eight-week Incubation phase, where the emphasis shifts to execution. Here, founders will work on establishing their businesses, engaging with the local market, securing pilot opportunities, and preparing for regional expansion and investment.

The program concludes with a four-week Funding phase, during which investment-ready startups will be introduced to potential investors based on their progress throughout the journey. QSTP President Rama Chakaki emphasized, "Great startups are not built through ideas alone. They are built by testing assumptions, proving demand, and turning evidence into action.

The Fall 2026 cohort comprises 25 local and 27 international startups across 19 sectors, including EdTech, MedTech, FinTech, cybersecurity, and SportsTech. They commenced the programme on September 1, making them the first cohort to navigate QSTP's revamped incubation pathway.
