Qatar strongly condemns renewed Iranian attacks against Kuwait

Doha, Qatar - Qatar has strongly denounced recent attacks carried out by Iran against Kuwait, deeming them an outright violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Islamic Republic of Iran's actions are seen as a direct breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness, according to Qatar's State of Qatar.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar asserts that the ongoing attacks pose a significant escalation, potentially complicating efforts to maintain regional stability and security. It holds Iran legally accountable for these acts and their potential consequences.

In response to the attacks, Qatar reaffirms its total solidarity with Kuwait and pledges its support for all measures taken by Kuwait to protect its sovereignty and security. The Ministry stresses the urgent need for an immediate end to all military operations and attacks that threaten regional security. It calls for a return to dialogue and negotiations, urging Iran to abide by diplomatic understandings reached in the past.
