Poland offers businesses seats on presidential plane for foreign visits

Polish President Karol Nawrocki has introduced a program to offer businesses seats on his presidential plane for international visits. This initiative aims to assist Polish companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in establishing new contacts and expanding their business relationships abroad. Nawrocki, who is from the opposition, made the announcement in a video posted on the social media platform X. The program will allow Polish businesses to join the president on his upcoming trip to New York for the United Nations General Assembly.

A one-day Polish-American Economic Summit is also scheduled during the visit, coinciding with Poland's participation in the G20 summit hosted by the United States. Selected companies will travel on the presidential flight from Warsaw to New York and back, with other expenses such as accommodation, meals, and visas to be covered by the businesses themselves.

The presidential chancellery will review applications from well-established companies with growth potential in the US market and a need for new partners and collaboration opportunities. The program responds to previous calls from businesses urging presidential foreign visits to be used for promoting the international expansion of Polish companies.
