Planet Coaster Maker Announces Disney Game Development, Opening Doors to a Disneyland Park Creator

Frontier Developments, the creator of Jurassic World Evolution, Planet Zoo, and Planet Coaster, has recently signed a deal with Disney to develop a new game. While specifics about the project are still scarce, an announcement to IGN revealed that the game will capitalize on the company's experience and track record in the creative management simulation genre.

This partnership suggests that fans can anticipate a Disney-themed simulation game, possibly resembling a Disneyland park creator. Frontier's expertise in adapting licensed properties, as demonstrated by their 2011 title Kinect: Disneyland Adventures (later remastered for Kinect-less play), lends credibility to this prediction. Frontier's CEO, Jo Cooke, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the studio's commitment to creating top-tier creative management simulation games that connect passionate players with iconic brands.

Additionally, Frontier confirmed another unannounced Planet sim game in development, with Planet Zoo 2 slated for October and a strategy game, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch, set for publication.
