Perlis PAS Youth wants action taken against MB for ‘tarnishing’ party’s image

The Perlis PAS Youth delegation has called for action against the state's Chief Minister, Abu Bakar Hamzah, alleging that his actions have damaged the party's and Perikatan Nasional's reputation in the region. During a discussion at the Perlis PAS Youth muktamar, Ali Na’imi Ahmad Azizi emphasized that the greatest challenge to Muslim unity would be maintaining it once achieved.

He warned that any internal leadership conflicts could potentially strain relations with allied parties. The PAS representative also criticized Abu Bakar's treatment of PAS assembly members, comparing it to how they would be treated if they were part of the opposition. The state's political crisis culminated in PAS severing ties with Bersatu, although the latter remained in the opposition coalition.
