PAS patut terajui Putrajaya, ada calon layak, kata perwakilan Kedah

PAS representatives from Kedah have urged Putrajaya to take action, emphasizing that there are suitable candidates available, according to a statement from Ilyas Ahmad, Ketua Pemuda PAS. Speaking at the annual Muktamar Dewan Pemuda PAS, Ilyas stressed the importance of Pas securing the top position in the federal government due to its clean record and free from corruption allegations, even during its tenure as the ruling party.

He called for unity among Muslims at the national level and urged not to entertain baseless accusations, as there are worthy candidates who could lead the government. Ilyas also highlighted the need to strengthen unity efforts without compromising the principles of the struggle based on Quran and Sunnah. He further stated that the unity charter should be prepared promptly to establish a common foundation, while respecting the spirit of mutual respect.

Additionally, Ilyas criticized the Democratic Action Party (DAP) and Amanah for labeling PAS as Taliban and accusing the party of riding on religion. He questioned why DAP and Amanah accused PAS members of not being religious, as Islam is a central aspect of their identity. Ilyas expressed his commitment to ensure PAS continues to follow Islamic principles in the struggle to uphold Islam in Malaysia.
