Ogogo’s daughter mourns father, says she wanted him to meet her second baby

Kira Taiwo, the daughter of late Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, known affectionately as Ogogo, has penned a heartfelt message on Instagram to mourn her father's passing. The emotional tribute shares her sorrow and difficulty in coping with the loss, as well as her disappointment that her father did not live to meet her second child.

In her statement, Kira expressed her grief, saying, “My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn.” She recalled her unfulfilled desire to have more time with her father before his death, wishing, “I love you, Daddy, but I just wanted more time, more time, more timeeee to meet my second baby.

Thank you ooo TAIYE.” The tribute comes on the heels of another message exchange between Kira and her late father, in which he implored her to remain strong after his demise. “How are you? I heard you are crying. Seeing you and your sisters smile is making me strong. If you cry, it will make me sad, and I will start to think,” Ogogo had told her in the exchange dated July 26.

“Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess.” The late actor, known for his roles in various Nollywood films, passed away on August 23 at the age of 66 after battling stage-four cancer.
