Ogogo’s daughter mourns father, says she wanted him to meet her second baby

Kira Taiwo, the daughter of the late Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, widely known as Ogogo, has opened up about her sorrow following the loss of her father. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Kira expressed her immense grief and lamented the absence of her father. "My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn," she wrote.

Kira recalled her unmet desire to see her father meet her unborn child and expressed her longing for more time with him. The emotional tribute comes in the wake of her mother's burial, and she shared a conversation she had with her father just before his death. In the message exchanged on July 26, Ogogo had encouraged her to stay strong and not to cry, stating, "How are you?

I heard you are crying. Seeing you and your sisters smile is making me strong. If you cry, it will make me sad, and I will start to think. Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess."

Taiwo Hassan, a veteran actor in the Nigerian film industry, passed away on August 23 at the age of 66 after fighting a battle with stage-four cancer.
