‘Malaysia, Jom Check!’: Free health screenings for STR recipients aged 40 and up

The Ministry of Health in Malaysia, through ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd, is providing complimentary health screenings to eligible Malaysian citizens aged 40 and above, as part of the PeKa B40 2026 Programme and the 'Malaysia, Jom Check!' initiative. This nationwide community health screening event, scheduled for September 5 to 6, aims to help Malaysians monitor their health status, particularly focusing on high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.

The screenings will encompass blood pressure checks, height and weight measurements, blood sample collection, and consultations with medical professionals.

STR recipients aged 40 and older, as well as their registered spouses, are encouraged to participate in this health screening. However, PeKa B40 recipients do not need to meet these criteria to attend. The programme will be held in various states including Selangor, Pahang, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Sabah, and Sarawak. To check eligibility, individuals are required to present their Identity Card (MyKad) and do not need to register or fast prior to the screening.
