Malad Accident: CCTV Footage Shows Exact Moment Of Fatal Crash That Killed Lawyer Priyanka Satra & Injured Several Others

Mumbai witnessed a tragic accident in Malad West on August 30, 2026, that claimed the life of 35-year-old lawyer Priyanka Satra and injured several others. The video of the accident, posted by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya on his X account, reveals the exact moments of the fatal crash. The accident occurred around 8 PM at Mamledarwadi junction when an MG Windsor rammed into the couple's vehicle while it was stopped at a red signal.

The impact left both the couple seriously injured, with Priyanka dying during treatment. Mayank, the other passenger, is out of danger but requires further surgeries. Three auto-rickshaw drivers - Subhedarchandra Chaudhary, Ramkesh Rajbhar, and Abdul Shaikh - were also injured in the incident. The driver of the car, 65-year-old Krushna Chamankar, was arrested following the accident and is under investigation for possible drunk driving.

The police collected Chamankar's blood sample for analysis. Chamankar was produced in court on Monday, where the court sent him to judicial custody, after which he was granted bail. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya, who has labeled Chamankar a scamster, has demanded strong and strict action against the accused.
