Lewandowski shares his opinion on Barcelona’s blockbuster signing Rodri: ‘The kind of experience this team needs’

Former Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski believes the club’s new signing Rodri brings the exact type of seasoned experience his new team requires. Speaking to Radio Marca, Lewandowski, who left Barcelona four seasons ago, praised Rodri’s tactical understanding and defensive capabilities. "He’s a player who knows what the team needs, how to play going forward, but also how to contribute a little more in defence," Lewandowski stated.

The Polish forward highlighted Rodri’s proven ability to perform at the highest level, both in World Cup competitions and over many years.

Lewandowski also offered insight into his departure from Barcelona, noting that after four wonderful years at the club, he felt it was time for a new challenge. "I had four wonderful years in Barcelona. But there comes a time when you have to do something different, take a new step, and I’m very happy now," he shared. Currently, Lewandowski resides in the United States, marking a significant shift from his European football career.
