Lee Kang-in named to La Liga's best XI of summer signings

Korean football sensation Lee Kang-in has been honored with a spot on La Liga's best XI of summer signings, according to an assessment by Score 90. The decision was based on the transfer fees associated with each player's move. The midfielder joined Atletico Madrid in a deal valued at 35 million euros, or approximately 41 million US dollars.

Alongside him were fellow Atletico players Morten Hjulmand, who transferred for 40 million euros, and Barca's Rodri, whose fee was valued at 60 million euros. Lee's transfer fee is the second highest ever paid for a Korean footballer, trailing only Kim Min-jae's move from Napoli to Bayern Munich for 50 million euros in 2023. Atletico Madrid's squad featured four players on the list, alongside Alejandro Grimaldo, who joined for 15 million euros, and Cristian Romero, who arrived for 33 million euros.

Barcelona's contributions included Anthony Gordon, who joined Rodri for a fee of 80 million euros. Real Madrid, which has gone without trophies for two consecutive years, had no players named to the prestigious XI.
