Indomie Awards puts 18 young heroes in spotlight

The Indomie Heroes Awards 2026 has narrowed down to 18 young heroes whose acts of bravery, compassion, and impact have been selected by a panel of distinguished judges. The journey to this final group began with over 500 nominations, which were vetted through official channels and research agencies for authenticity and supporting evidence.

The judges, comprising Nyma Zibiri, Kehinde Adegboyega, Biodun Kolawole, Oluwatosin Babasanya-Craig, and Victory Ashaka, faced a challenging task in choosing the finalists, particularly in the Social Bravery category. Kehinde noted the difficulty in selecting from strong ties and impressive submissions, while Nyma found a deeper expression of empathy in this year's entries.

The awards not only recognize individual acts of courage but also provide a platform for "unsung heroes" to gain national visibility.
