GES release national harmonised prospectus for 2026/27 SHS admissions

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the National Harmonised Prospectus for Senior High School (SHS) and Senior High Technical School (SHTS) admissions for the academic year 2026/2027. The prospectus aims to provide guidance to parents and students on the necessary items for enrolment, including those for both boarding and day students.

GES encourages parents and students to thoroughly review the prospectus and make the required preparations before the start of the new academic year. Both schools and other relevant stakeholders have been instructed to follow the guidelines set out in the prospectus to ensure a smooth, consistent, and standardized admission process across the country.

This release precedes the announcement of school placements and aims to help newly admitted students and their parents adequately prepare for enrollment once placements are announced. Parents and prospective students are urged to familiarize themselves with the approved requirements to prevent any issues during the admission process.
