Gorakhpur, September 3: State Premier Yogi Adityanath is set to honor 81 exceptional teachers from across Uttar Pradesh on Teachers Day, September 5. These distinguished educators will receive the State Teacher Award 2025 and the Chief Minister Teacher Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions to school management, innovative teaching methods, and the holistic development of students.
A grand ceremony will be held at the Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium in Gorakhpur, with accommodations arranged for the selected teachers from various departments. A total of 61 teachers from the Basic Education Department and 20 from the Secondary Education Department have been chosen for the prestigious awards. Among the Secondary Education Department recipients, five will be honored with the Chief Minister Teacher Award.
