Yasin dibenar keluar Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta

Composer and singer Yasin Sulaiman was granted official permission to leave Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, Perak, today, almost three years after receiving treatment following a decision overturned by the High Court Appeal Court and restoring a sessional order from the Sessions Court. Brother Zain Sulaiman informed Harian Metro that the family was contacted by the hospital last week to inform them of the official permission to leave, according to the established procedure.

According to Zain, he and Yasin's family, including his wife, sibling, and Yasin's daughter, traveled to Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta early this morning to meet the singer around 10 a.m. The family expressed their overwhelming gratitude for Yasin's release after enduring four years of hardship and waiting, including the court proceedings, according to a statement.

Yasin, 51, is now in excellent physical condition, strong, and in a highly joyful emotional state. However, according to him, Yasin still requires ongoing health monitoring and mandatory periodic examinations at the hospital once a month. In April last year, the High Court Appeal Court released the popular singer from three drug-related and knife-related charges, overturning the High Court's death sentence and 16-year imprisonment.

However, the High Court Appeal Court decided to uphold the Sessions Court's decision that Yasin be admitted to Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, Perak, for a specified period under the Sultan of Selangor's permission.
