Wisin Launches ‘Universidad del Perreo’ & Signs New Management: ‘The Music Speaks’

Wisin, the renowned reggaeton artist, has introduced a new initiative called "Universidad del Perreo," which translates to "University of the Perreo." This project marks his entry into the role of dean of the Universidad del Perreo, a concept that originated from a mysterious invitation to a university. The album accompanying this project, released under his own label, La Base Music Group, includes 12 tracks and features collaborations with prominent figures in the genre, such as Ivy Queen, Don Chezina, Jory Boy, Jowell & Randy, Trébol Clan, Franco El Gorilla, Juanka El Problematik, and the Mexican artist El Bogueto. Notably, Colombian artist Kapo is the first "graduate" of this musical university.

Wisin emphasizes that this is not just an album but a platform to help young people become great songwriters, artists, and producers. The project also includes a website where fans can register for exclusive content, attracting over 2 million subscribers. Additionally, in-person courses will be held in cities like Puerto Rico, Miami, Bogotá, and Mexico City, offering further learning opportunities.

Furthermore, Wisin has signed a direct management deal with D27 Entertainment, his manager Chris Duque, solidifying his professional future in the music industry.
