College football coaching changes put Kiffin, Whittingham, Sumrall and others in new places

Last winter's college football coaching carousel brought about significant changes, placing new coaches in prominent positions. Lane Kiffin, who recently departed from Ole Miss, has been hired by LSU, where he is set to earn a reported $91 million over seven years. His move to LSU follows a closely watched time at Ole Miss and the resignation of Brian Kelly, who was let go by Michigan.

Kiffin expects his sixth head coaching position at a school with a rich football history and ample resources to help him achieve success.
