Vote: Ranking Liverpool’s 2026 Summer Transfer Window

Liverpool's 2026 summer transfer window proved to be a mixed bag for fans of the club. While they managed to secure Bradley Barcola, a £125M deal meant to replace Mohamed Salah, the squad balance issues remained a significant concern. With four wingers on the left and none naturally comfortable on the right, Liverpool is still lacking in that department.

The signing of center back Ronald Araujo provided a glimmer of hope, but the club's efforts to bolster the defense, particularly at fullback, fell short. Midfield also appeared woefully thin after the departure of Curtis Jones, and no new signings were made to fill that void. Head coach Andoni Iraola had expressed the desire to make two to three signings, but none were completed, leaving most of the squad issues unresolved.

Despite the acquisition of the so-called Salah replacement, it remains uncertain whether Liverpool's efforts in the summer transfer window can be considered a minor success or if fans will be disappointed when head coach Hughes eventually departs the club.
