Sonos announced a range of new products, including the Sonos 27 OS, Beam Ultra, and Ace Ultra headphones. The Ace Ultra, which entered the market two years ago, has been upgraded with a longer battery life, more advanced noise cancellation, and new earpads for passive noise isolation. It will also be the first Sonos product built on the new Headphone Engine 2, enabling direct connection to the Sonos system without a phone nearby.
The Ace Ultra will be sold in Malaysia starting September 29th for RM2,299 in four different colours: Black, White, Agave, and Sand. The Beam Ultra is a refreshed version of the previous model, now capable of true 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos sound. It features nine custom drivers, two dedicated up-firing drivers, and four levels of AI Speech Enhancement for improved dialogue clarity.
The Beam Ultra will also be available from September 29th at RM4,199. Completing the lineup is the Sonos 27 operating system and app, which introduces 27voice, an AI assistant tailored for music and mood curation, and 27mcp, allowing users to connect to any AI assistant of their choice, including OpenAI's ChatGPT. These new features will be available for download starting September 8th via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
