Construction Clock management platform rebranded as Supercrew

Construction management software company Construction Clock has rebranded itself as Supercrew. The Winnipeg-based firm, founded in 2022 by construction worker-turned-tech entrepreneur Terry Peters, is transitioning from a time tracking app to a comprehensive crew management platform.

Peters explained that the rebranding reflects the evolution of his company's offerings, noting that he initially started with time and attendance tracking to solve a specific problem in the construction industry. Today, Supercrew serves over 3,000 companies across 10,000 active job sites daily, tracking more than $1 billion in labor costs. The platform automates work planning, labor tracking, and payroll processing, streamlining operations and reducing administrative burdens for field teams.

Since its inception, Supercrew has secured $3.2 million in funding, with participation from M25, a Chicago-based venture firm, and Trillick Ventures Inc., an early-stage venture capital fund based in Winnipeg. Earlier this year, the company received an additional $470,000 in funding from Prairies Economic Development Canada for AI development.

Upcoming features include a scheduling tool launching before the end of the year and a hiring function testing in Winnipeg in time for the spring construction season. Supercrew will be moving into a new office in the McGillivray Business Park at the end of next month, employing 35 people.

The Winnipeg Construction Association's president and CEO, Darryl Harrison, highlighted the growing adoption of new technologies in the construction industry, particularly among smaller companies with limited administrative teams. He emphasized that platforms like Supercrew, enabling efficient operations, are beneficial for the industry as a whole.
