Saint Levant postpones North American tour over US visa issues

Saint Levant, the Palestinian-Algerian singer and rapper, has postponed his North American tour until spring 2027 due to complications with his US visa application. The tour, originally scheduled to begin in September, was to include shows in major US cities such as Boston, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, as well as Canadian cities Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.

On Instagram, Saint Levant explained that additional background checks on his visa application could take several months to complete. He has faced similar issues in recent years, leading to repeated postponements of his tours. After consulting with his lawyers and other artists who have encountered similar problems, Saint Levant decided to reschedule the tour for next year.

The decision to postpone the Canadian shows as well was met with questions from fans on social media. However, Saint Levant clarified that the Canadian concerts have also been moved due to the same visa issues. International tours are typically organized as a single operation, with shared costs and logistics, making it more practical to keep the Canadian and US concerts together.

Despite the postponement, existing tickets for the rescheduled concerts will be honored, and refunds will be available upon request. Saint Levant added that additional shows have been added to the rescheduled tour. As an advocate for Palestine, Saint Levant has been vocal about Palestinian identity, displacement, and the war in Gaza through his music and social media presence.
