Ramssol inks RM31mil AI, IT deal with Linear Channel

RAMSOL and Linear Channel have joined forces to deliver IT devices, artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, and device monitoring software. The RM31 million agreement, facilitated through Ramssol's unit Rams Aitech Sdn Bhd, will bolster Linear Channel's GreenElite Pro device-as-a-service program. In this program, Linear Channel contracts with SMEs to rent IT equipment infused with AI software and monitoring services.

Linear Channel will handle customer interactions, setup, maintenance, invoicing, and collections, while Ramss Aitech will provide the requisite AI and monitoring software, plus the devices.

The partnership is backed by four significant agreements, including a RM7.7 million foundation collaboration deal from March, a RM4.62 million equipment lease, a RM12.36 million master reseller agreement, and a RM6.27 million software license contract. Under this arrangement, Linear Channel has pledged a 10,000-seat subscription over 36 months, with approximately 2,000 new devices set to be supplied by Ramss Aitech.

The remaining 8,000 seats will be allocated to devices already owned by Linear Channel. Linear Channel will remit a minimum monthly payment of RM343,200 for the 10,000 seats. Additional activated seats will incur a charge of RM34.32 per seat per month. These agreements are set to last from September 2, 2026, to September 1, 2029.
