To ensure responsible usage, participating organizations adhere to strict operational standards, limiting access to internal cybersecurity teams and implementing multi-factor authentication.

Currently, over 650 partners globally are benefiting from the Fairwind Program, with the list growing as the program evolves to meet partner needs. The program is integrated with Google Cloud's zero-trust architecture and AI defenses, offering unparalleled protection for numerous accounts and systems. The Fairwind Program further aligns with Google’s commitment to global cyber resilience, including enhancing grassroots cyber defense through Google.org's cybersecurity funding of over $100 million worldwide.

In 2026, Google.org supported 35 cyber clinics, providing free security assistance to more than 1,250 hospitals, school districts, and municipal utilities across the United States.
