NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule Hails Rise Of Young Women Leaders In Bhiwandi Politics, Praises Isha Khan’s Leadership

Bhiwandi has witnessed a surge in young women leaders in its civic politics, according to NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule. Speaking at the inauguration of Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Chairperson Advocate Isha Khan's office, Sule expressed her admiration for the emergence of young women leading the Gen-Z generation. Praise for Isha Khan's linguistic abilities in English, Hindi, and Marathi marked the event, attended by several political figures and citizens.

Sule emphasized the importance of women in public life focusing on their work, dismissing concerns from social media trolling. She highlighted that in Bhiwandi, a young woman is taking the lead while her father stands firmly behind her, a positive sign for women's participation in politics. Sule also pledged to raise Bhiwandi's development issues with the state government and secure adequate funds for the city.

Standing Committee Chairperson Isha Khan, in her remarks, pointed out that several development projects in Bhiwandi were hindered due to a lack of funding. She appealed to the state government, Chief Minister, and Deputy Chief Minister to provide necessary financial assistance. Bhiwandi's tradition of Hindu-Muslim unity in pursuing development work, as highlighted by Standing Committee Chairperson Mhatre, showcases the collective responsibility of elected representatives in ensuring the city's progress.
