Lutnick: Anthropic is "back on the right side" with Trump administration

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick of the Trump administration proclaimed that Anthropic AI company is now trustworthy, following months of tension and disputes over security and AI oversight. When asked about his trust in Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Lutnick told Axios's Mike Allen, "We trust Anthropic. They've done what we asked. They're back on the right side." This newfound assurance was articulated during a Tuesday interview. The administration's decision to trust Anthropic comes as the company's co-founder, Tom Brown, takes a more prominent role in fostering a positive relationship with the White House, including a spotlight appearance at this week's G20 Innovation Ministerial.
