Long jump champion Davis-Woodhall suffers a concussion in a head-on collision

Olympic and world champion long jumper Tara Davis-Woodhall sustained a concussion from a head-on collision while en route to a training session. The incident occurred last week when she was traveling at around 20 mph in a parking lot. Another vehicle, also moving at similar speed, collided with her. Davis-Woodhall reported that she did not sustain any major injuries, but the concussion and additional injuries have prevented her from training.

She is currently working with her team and medical professionals to recover. Davis-Woodhall, who was set to compete in the Ultimate World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, where she finished second at the 2023 world championships, is currently uncertain if she will be able to compete. The first annual payment for her subscription is $205.00 plus GST for one year, with automatic renewal at $233.00 plus GST every 52 weeks.
