IT Ministry Reveals Easy Way to Earn Rs. 150,000 Monthly Salary in Pakistan

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has announced a government-backed initiative that can help engineers in Pakistan earn around Rs. 150,000 each month. This program, funded by Ignite, the National Technology Fund, focuses on training engineers in specialized skills such as Integrated Circuit (IC) Design and Verification. The program, implemented by FAST-NUCES, trained 30 engineers, seven of whom were women, selected from 20 districts across the country.

The curriculum included advanced IC design, VLSI verification, System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture, and industry-standard design tools. Participants also gained exposure to chip tapeout and fabrication processes. The training has been successful, with 23 of the 30 trained engineers securing employment in Pakistan’s semiconductor industry. The remaining seven participants chose to pursue further specialization through master’s degrees.

This initiative is aimed at developing skilled human resources for Pakistan’s semiconductor sector, where such expertise is in high demand. It indicates a strong market demand for professionals with specialized skills in IC design and verification, with fresh professionals in these fields potentially earning approximately Rs. 150,000 or more per month.
