Islamic Military Coalition, UK to expand counterterrorism cooperation

London — On Wednesday, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, Secretary General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), convened with Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the UK's Defense Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, at the UK Ministry of Defense headquarters. This meeting is part of the IMCTC's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and foster partnerships with countries and international entities.

The two leaders discussed avenues to bolster cooperation in areas of mutual concern, aimed at reinforcing coordination to combat terrorism and extremism. They also examined the evolving security challenges and explored means to bolster capabilities in relevant fields.
