ISKCON Juhu Gokulashtami Celebrations: Mumbai Traffic Police Announces Restrictions, Diversions On September 3-4

Mumbai's Western Suburbs Traffic Division has announced traffic restrictions and diversions in the areas surrounding the Hare Rama Hare Krishna Mandir, also known as ISKCON temple, in Juhu, for the Gokulashtami festival celebrations on September 3 and 4. The temple is expected to receive a large number of devotees on these days. The traffic restrictions are in place to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.

Restriction timings for September 3 and 4 are as follows:

- September 3: 3:30 pm to September 4, 2 am

- September 4: 4 pm to September 5, 2 am

Certain roads and stretches will be off-limits to vehicles. Parking will not be permitted for any type of vehicle on the following roads:

- Janardhan Mhatre Road

- Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg

- Juhu Church Road

- Gandhi Gram Road

- Alfred Criedo Road

- Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg

- Shyamrao Parulekar Marg (N.S. Road No. 13)

- Balraj Sahani Road

- A.B. Nair Road

- Devle Road (Military Road)

Additionally, the following road segments will be closed to all vehicles, except for emergency services, VIP vehicles, temple vehicles, and local residents' vehicles:

1. Chandok Chowk to Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg

2. Alfred Criedo Road to Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg

3. Shyamrao Parulekar Marg to Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg

4. Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg – Devle Road junction

Furthermore, vehicles will not be allowed to travel from east to west towards Military Road. The road between Sant Dnyaneshwar Marg and Mukteshwar Devalaya Marg will function as a one-way street during the restrictions. The Mumbai Traffic Police has requested motorists to cooperate with traffic officials, adhere to the restrictions, and utilize alternate routes to prevent inconvenience during the Gokulashtami festivities.
