‘I said, You are my favourite cricketer’: Boycott reveals conversation with Jadeja

Former England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott praised Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, describing him as one of the premier all-rounders in cricket. During a recent conversation, Boycott told the Stick to Cricket podcast that he met Jadeja for the first time in India last year and called him his favourite cricketer. Jadeja, however, responded, "No way," indicating his pride in his skills and abilities.

Boycott continued to laud Jadeja's all-round abilities, highlighting his exceptional bowling, electric fielding, and solid batting performance. He also noted Jadeja's competitive spirit and ability to lift his teammates through his performance. This sentiment was echoed by fellow former England cricketers Stuart Broad and Jos Buttler on their podcast, The Overlap Cricket, who described Jadeja as a nightmare to face, especially in India, and an underrated batter with phenomenal numbers.
