Frasers Property to redevelop Yishun 10 into mixed-used complex by mid-2031

It will be the first residential launch in Yishun Central in more than a decade.

Frasers Property plans to transform Singapore's first cinema multiplex, Yishun 10, into a mixed-use development by mid-2031, with the redevelopment set to conclude by March 2027. The project, spanning approximately 39,125 sq ft of land and boasting a gross floor area of 117,376 sq ft, will consist of around 110 residential units and a retail podium at street level.

Additionally, a landscaped facilities deck will be situated on the second floor of the new complex. Yishun 10, which has been in operation since May 28, 1992, saw a revamp in 2010 and was formerly known as GV Yishun. The property developer, Frasers Property, acquired the cineplex from Golden Village in June 2026, subsequently purchasing the 10 strata lots from Frasers Centrepoint Trust for $34.5 million.

Despite the redevelopment, Frasers Property intends to retain management of Yishun 10 post-renovation. Following the announcement, Frasers Property's shares experienced a 1% decrease, closing at $1.01 on September 1.
