Edifier W800NB Launches With 50dB ANC and 118-Hour Battery

Edifier has unveiled the W800NB, a new set of wireless over-ear headphones equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC), LDAC support, and a battery life extending up to 118 hours. The headphones are presently available for reservation through online retail outlets like JD.com, with an introductory price tag of $43. Audio Quality The W800NB incorporates 40mm dynamic drivers with silver-plated diaphragms.

It supports Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC, contingent on the smartphone or computer connected also supporting the codec. The device offers a spatial audio mode for a broader virtual sound field. Active Noise Cancellation The W800NB delivers up to 50dB of ANC, a 14% boost in noise reduction compared to the previous model. Five noise-control modes are at users' disposal, encompassing ANC, Transparency, and Wind Noise Reduction.

Design and Ergonomics Weighing 250 grams, the W800NB features memory protein leather earcups paired with slow-rebound foam. Edifier has introduced a four-axis floating structure for the headband and earcups, enabling them to adapt more naturally to the user's head. The headphones utilize a foldable design for convenient storage and transport.

Communication and Artificial Intelligence The W800NB houses three microphones enhanced with AI noise reduction to enhance voice clarity during calls in loud surroundings. Additionally, the headphones support voice-assistant controls and real-time translation. Battery and Connectivity The W800NB provides up to 118 hours of battery life when ANC is turned off, and between 60 to 70 hours when ANC is active.

A mere 15-minute charge yields approximately 18 hours of playback. The device supports Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device pairing, wired audio connectivity, and a low-latency gaming mode.
