Mensah, a Heisman Trophy contender, had initially announced his intention to enter the 2026 NFL Draft but ultimately decided to return for an additional year. This decision came as a surprise to many. The 6'3", 205-pound athlete led the Duke Blue Devils with 34 touchdowns and just six interceptions in the previous season. Despite his impressive statistics, Mensah's draft stock is expected to rise following his move to Miami, as he would be surrounded by improved resources.
