5 new features coming to Android — including improvements to Google Messages, Gemini Live, and Find Hub

Google has announced five new Android features, including updates to Google Messages, Gemini Live, and Find Hub, as well as the launch of Motion Assist. Motion Assist, which should be available now, uses a subtle bubble overlay to reduce motion sickness while in a moving vehicle by moving in time with the vehicle. Google Messages has also received customizable chat themes and wallpapers, though these were announced earlier and rolled out a few days ago.

Google Keep is now integrated into Google Messages, allowing users to share notes and lists that can be updated by all members of a chat. Find Hub will soon get an upgrade that enables users to create a searchable inventory of their belongings by telling Gemini where they are stored. Lastly, Gemini Live will introduce a visual assistant that provides audio guidance about surroundings through the camera, which should be available soon on devices running Android 9 and above in countries where Gemini is available.
