2,000 keluar parti? Lebih kurang 30 orang sahaja, kata Larry Sng

Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) president Larry Sng has dismissed claims that more than 2,000 PBM Youth members have left to join Wawasan. Sng stated that only around 30 members have departed, voluntarily and by mutual accord. This came after PBM Youth leader Hanis Asmui announced the voluntary disbandment of the Youth wing at the central, state, and division levels.

Hanis, who also relinquished his positions as PBM Youth chief, Johor deputy chairman, and Muar division chief, cited growing dissatisfaction with the party's leadership, which he felt failed to align with members' beliefs. He attributed the situation to right-wing party statements that portrayed them as weak and misleading, particularly on religious and ethnic issues.

Hanis believes the leadership no longer reflects the grassroots aspirations and has failed to commit seriously to a comprehensive reform agenda needed at this time. PBM Youth chose Wawasan due to its broader political stability agenda, ability to bridge ethnic divisions, and unite Malay parties like PAS and Umno. They see Wawasan as a major agenda for political stability and a bridge to unite Malay political parties like PAS and Umno, while also addressing racial divisions in Malaysia.
