YouTube TV now lets you stream ESPN Unlimited right inside the app

YouTube TV is now providing direct access to ESPN Unlimited content within its app, eliminating the need for users to switch between different applications. This integration, which began in August but required a separate app up until now, encompasses live sports events such as the US Open, college football, PGA Tour golf, WWE Premium Live Events, LaLiga, out-of-market NHL games, ESPN Originals, Films, and the 30 for 30 documentary library.

In addition to ESPN and ESPN2 channels, ESPN Deportes, SEC Network, and ACC Network are also part of the package. The update includes features like unlimited DVR, live scores and stats, multiview, and a revamped live guide showcasing three dedicated rows for ESPN Unlimited events and separate network rows for simple browsing. Notably, this integration came about following the resolution of a two-week blackout in November that affected ESPN and other Disney channels on YouTube TV.

While Disney has increased the standalone pricing of ESPN Unlimited from $29.99 to $31.99 per month, subscribers who already have ESPN's linear channels on YouTube TV can benefit from cost savings. Additionally, fantasy football enthusiasts can enjoy real-time updates of their team's live stats through YouTube TV's Fantasy View, which now integrates with ESPN Fantasy Football.

This enhancement allows users to stay informed without opening multiple tabs during live games, particularly relevant as the NFL season approaches.
