Yahaya Bello gifts Kogi student N30m for aviation training

The family of aviation student Enejoh Faith has expressed gratitude to former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello for providing N30 million to help her complete her training and pursue her dream of becoming a pilot. Faith visited Bello's residence on July 17, 2025, seeking financial assistance to cover the costs of her aviation training.

Bello, who had no prior knowledge of Faith or her family, offered to take responsibility for her training and ultimately provided more than the initially requested amount, anticipating potential additional financial challenges during her studies. Faith and her family visited Bello on Monday night to update him on her progress and thank him for his intervention.

Faith recently passed her public pilot licence examination with a score of 89%, completing her training in preparation for the next stage of her aviation career. Her father, who had previously experienced high blood pressure levels, exclaimed that Bello's support had transformed their family's fortunes, as he expressed his deep appreciation for the former governor's kindness and generosity.
